Complete Radio Silence formed in the summer of 2007 when guitarists Pawel Saul and Jolyon Pagett met drummer Ruifu Wang for a drink at the Colliers Wood Tup. The union was a formidable one. Several line up changes later Ruifu Wang was replaced at the stool by Hiroto Amamiya. The addition of guitarist Paul Crane saw Jolyon move to acoustic (all be it at times distorted and wailing) guitar. When Mego joined on Bass the ensemble was finally complete... With four singers and five songwriters the band set to work.
The result is an oscillating wave of melodic noise, moving through punchy shoegazerock tunes into a slow rolling melee of haunting post-rock informed dirges.

June 2010 saw the launch of the Fog EP to a packed out Bull and Gate in Kentish Town London, and with the release of the Stagger EP in March 2011 one could safely say that Complete Radio Silence had arrived.Following a recent spate of shows at Cargo London and their performance in support of the Homosexuals at the celebrated Tin Pan Alley Festival the band decided to head back into the studio. The results speak for themselves.Complete Radio Silence are currently promoting their new self titled album.

I have had the same guitar since I was nine and haven't played a gig without her, see more about her down belooooow!

I love loads of different artists, and I talk endlessly about them all the time. Marlia project “Realisation of Thyself I” is a global project that is meant to be performed by different kinds of musicians independently of what instrument they play and whether they might have a different aspect in mind regarding one of the songs.

It's all about keeping a certain song structure and experimenting on all kinds of parameters around the song, whether it is sound, instrument, tuning, melody, rhythm or visuals.
