The Blue Carpet Band
Powerhouse five-piece garage punk rock’n’rollers based in North London. Like classic blues-rock proponents such as The Yardbirds and early Rolling Stones mixing it up with early New York punk, The Cramps and The Stooges, think big riffs, 12-bar boogie and unstoppable energy.
Self-admittedly the worst oi! Band in the country with their smash mouth hooligan oi! rock n roll and fuck you attitude, three of em are twats!
Band interests include drinking and making a noise about things that piss them off!
A 1st generation-influenced 4 piece punk band with a real London 77 sound. Their live sound has been described as a cross between The Clash and The Buzzcocks. The Critically acclaimed album “The Brixton Tapes” was released at the end of last year.
Tasty London Hardcore. “BKS is more of a CBGB Sunday Matinee type of band where they are throwing things back to a more clean hardcore style. A fine debut. “ineffecthardcore.com” 2015.
