Acts appearing include:

Formed in the late 1970s, an English punk/new wave band led by vocalist / guitarist Spizz. The band changed its name every year, subsequent names including Athletico Spizz 80, Spizzoil and The Spizzles.
They are notable as the first band to top the newly created UK Indie Chart early in 1980 with their single “Where’s Captain Kirk?” More than two decades after its release, it was included in Mojo magazine’s list of the best punk rock singles of all time.
Mercurial punk survivor Spizz made his debut at the Birmingham, England club Barbarella’s during an all-day music festival held at the end of August 1977, performing an improvised set on a borrowed guitar!

A Post-Punk vision of the future whilst embracing the past … Taking the post-punk blueprint of bands like Joy Division and Magazine, the frozen intensity of early Banshees and the art-school nihilism of the Velvets through to the Stooges, Morgellons have created a sound that, although rooted in a rich musical past, has a relevance and urgency that marks them out as something very different from their peers.
The diversity of musical styles are an indication that a genuinely original and exciting new band has arrived.

The Blue Carpet Band
Powerhouse five-piece dirty garage punk rock’n’rollers based in North London. Like classic blues-rock proponents such as The Yardbirds and early Rolling Stones mixing it up with early New York punk, The Cramps, MC5 and The Stooges, think big riffs, 12-bar boogie and unstoppable energy, on a mission to bring back good real music to London then the world.

Hung Like Hanratty
Originally formed in Mansfield in 1992 but wasn’t until 2011 that they actually decided to make a go of it. A somewhat controversial band in some people’s opinions but then again these people don’t have a sense of humour!
Inspired by early tuneful 1977 punk/new wave, bands such as The Pork Dukes, The Damned, The Stranglers and SLF and through a lot of hard work have become one of the most successful punk bands on the UK circuit today.

London Country
If Wills and the Willing have often been compared to Ian Dury, Ian Wills other combo ‘London Country’ follows in the footsteps of the great punk poets such as Patrick Fitzgerald (Safety Pin Stuck In My Heart) and John Cooper Clark. A mixture of spoken words and singing, London Country deliver a strong message in the best tradition of punk.
